Camp FAQ

How do I register for camp?

You can register online at http://www.creightonmensbasketballcamps.com.  If you choose to register online, there is an additional fee to charge your credit card. 

If you would prefer to register by mail, click on the link at the top, and you can print an application to mail in with cash or a check.

Are meals provided?

Day Camp: Lunch will be provided daily for all campers.

Individual Camps: Lunch and dinner are provided on the 2nd and 3rd days of camp for all campers.  Lunch is provided on the last day of camp for all campers.  Breakfast is also provided on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th days of camp for overnight campers.  Dinner will not be served on the first night and the last night of camp. 

Meals are served in an on-campus air-conditioned dining hall.  Pizza parties are often featured at most of the overnight camps as well.

What do overnight campers need to bring to camp?

Individual Camps: Overnight campers need to bring their own towels, linens, pillows, blankets, or sleeping bags to camp.  They are also expected to have toilet articles and all necessary clothing.  Extra spending money for snacks, etc. may be helpful.  They might also want a small bag with a water bottle to bring to the gym.  Please be sure to put your camper’s name on their water bottle and bag.

What do commuter campers need to bring to camp?

All Camps: Commuter campers can bring a bag, water bottle, and gym shoes to camp.  Please be sure their name is on their water bottle and bag.

Are the dorms supervised for overnight camps?

Yes, camp counselors are housed on each floor of the residence halls.

Will there be time to buy camp gear?

There will be a small bookstore set up with Creighton gear during check-in and again after camp concludes.  All campers will be provided with an official camp t-shirt at check-in and a basketball at the conclusion of camp.

Can I come watch my camper during camp?

Parents and family members are welcome to come watch their camper any time during camp.  At check-in you will be provided with a campus map and information about which gym your camper will be playing in depending on their grade level.

What is the schedule for Day Camp?

Check-in will be from 7:30-9:00am on Monday, June 13th in the Ryan Athletic Center/D.J. Sokol Arena.  On June 13th, 14th, and 15th camp will run from 9:00am-5:00pm each day.  On Wednesday, June 15th, parents and family members are welcome to attend an award ceremony at 4:30 in the Ryan Athletic Center/D.J. Sokol Arena.  Camp will conclude around 5:00pm after the award ceremony.

What is the schedule for Individual Camps?

Overnight campers: Overnight campers can check in between 4:30-6:00pm on the first night of camp at the Kiewit Residence Hall.  Camp will conclude at 8:30pm that night.  Camp will run from 9:00am-8:30pm on the 2nd and 3rd days.  On the last day, camp will go from 9:00am-5:00pm.  Parents and family members are welcome to attend an award ceremony at 4:30 on the last day in the Ryan Athletic Center/D.J. Sokol Arena.  Camp will conclude around 5:00pm after the award ceremony. 

Commuter campers: Commuter campers can check in between 5:30-6:30pm on the first night of camp at the Kiewit Residence Hall.  Camp will conclude at 8:30pm that night.  For the next 3 days of camp, campers may be dropped off between 7:30-9:00am.  Camp will run from 9:00am-8:30pm on the 2nd and 3rd days.  Campers should be picked up at 8:30pm.  On the last day, camp will go from 9:00am-5:00pm.  Parents and family members are welcome to attend an award ceremony at 4:30 on the last day in the Ryan Athletic Center/D.J. Sokol Arena.  Camp will conclude around 5:00pm after the award ceremony.
